All academic and practicing otolaryngologists, fellows, and residents are invited to submit a paper for presentation.
Presentations may be in either Oral or Poster format, which will be decided by the program committee after abstract review. The 2018 meeting will feature sessions exploring “Best Practice Guidelines” in otolaryngology, “Advances and Technology in Otolaryngology Practice” with multiple hands-on workshops, and “Patient Safety and Quality in Pennsylvania,” in addition to the resident research. Submissions with topics that provide practicing otolaryngologists with particularly novel research, techniques, and ideas that they can incorporate into their practices to improve patient outcomes and practice efficiency will be given first consideration for oral presentations in the general session; however, all topics will be evaluated and considered based on originality and scientific merit. Another research session will be dedicated to resident patient safety and quality improvement (PSQI) projects; all resident levels are encouraged to submit. PAO-HNS will consider abstracts presented at other academic forums, and presentation at the 2018 meeting does not ordinarily preclude one’s participation at other meetings.
Cash will be awarded for the top oral and poster presentations.
Deadline Extended- March 19, 2018.
All Submissions should be made online
