All submissions should be made online by Monday, March 16 at 5:00 PM
The Pennsylvania Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting will be held June 12-13, 2020 at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, Farmington, PA.
All academic and practicing otolaryngologists, fellows, and residents are invited to submit a paper for presentation.
Presentations may be in either Oral, Poster, e-Poster format, which will be decided by the program committee after the abstract review. The 2020 meeting will feature sessions exploring “The Thyroid Nodule in 2020 State of the Art Management,” “What’d you say! What’s new in hearing loss and assistance devices,” and “Cutting Edge Therapies & Frontiers in Otolaryngology,” in addition to the resident research.
Submissions with topics that provide practicing otolaryngologists with particularly novel research, techniques, and ideas that they can incorporate into their practices to improve patient outcomes and practice efficiency will be given first consideration for oral presentations in the general session; however, all topics will be evaluated and considered based on originality and scientific merit. Another research session will be dedicated to resident patient safety and quality improvement (PSQI) projects; all resident levels are encouraged to submit. PAO-HNS will consider abstracts presented at other academic forums, and presentation at the 2020 meeting does not ordinarily preclude one’s participation at other meetings.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the top oral and poster presentations.
